In our studio located in the historic old town of Leh, we specialize in the restoration of Thangka paintings. These intricate and culturally significant artworks are often brought to us by private families or monasteries, which typically possess extensive collections of Thangka paintings. Our studio provides a dedicated space where we meticulously restore these paintings, using techniques that respect their traditional craftsmanship and historical value. By working closely with the owners, we ensure that each restoration project is tailored to the specific needs of the Thangka, preserving its artistic integrity and cultural significance. Our efforts not only restore the physical beauty of these paintings but also contribute to the preservation of the rich cultural heritage they represent, ensuring that these treasures can be appreciated by future generations.
Join us for our annual art show on Saturday, June 12th from 10am to 4pm at the Shesrig Foundation Centre. This year's show features works from over 50 local artists in a variety of mediums. Admission is free and all are welcome!
