This is one of our most recent projects and is currently ongoing. The project brings together a team of senior conservators, wall painting conservation fellows, site assistants, architects, community members, and villagers from Tangtse, who are working collaboratively towards the structural stabilisation of the temple and the conservation of the historic wall paintings within it. The work is being carried out with careful attention to both the architectural structure and the paintings, and is currently scheduled to continue until the end of September 2026.
